These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of empowermed.us (the "Site") and the non-emergency clinical services offered by Empower Med, PLLC ("Empower Med," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. Separate clinical consents or agreements may apply when you establish care.
Empower Med is a physician practice providing preventive medicine, metabolic care, hormone care, laboratory services, and related clinical services. Clinical care is provided by an appropriately licensed clinician. You must be located in a jurisdiction where the treating clinician is authorized to practice at the time of the clinical encounter. Empower Med currently advertises routine clinical availability in Virginia.
Submitting a website form, reading Site content, or requesting a consultation does not by itself establish a physician-patient relationship. A clinical relationship is established only through the appropriate evaluation and consent process.
Empower Med does not provide emergency services through this Site or routine telehealth messaging. If you believe you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Service descriptions, pricing information, educational articles, FAQs, and other Site content are general information. They are not a diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for an individualized medical evaluation.
A consultation does not guarantee a prescription, a particular medication, dose, formulation, pharmacy, or continued treatment. Prescribing decisions depend on clinical appropriateness, informed consent, required monitoring, lawful availability, and the clinician's professional judgment.
FDA-approved commercially manufactured medications are considered when clinically appropriate. Compounded preparations are not commercially manufactured drug products. They are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. A compounded medication may be considered only when an individualized clinical need and applicable law support its use. Availability, pricing, and dispensing pathways may change.
Clinical services are intended for adults age 18 and older unless Empower Med expressly states otherwise. Additional eligibility and monitoring requirements may apply to particular medications or services, including controlled substances.
Current clinical-service prices are published on the Pricing page or presented before purchase. Medication and laboratory charges are separate from clinical-service fees unless expressly stated otherwise. Medication billing depends on the medication, dispensing pharmacy, coverage, and treatment pathway.
Metabolic clinical care is $125/month. TRT and HRT physician care fees are each $149/month. Published laboratory prices, medication costs, credits, and combined-care discounts are separate and subject to their stated terms. If a conflict exists between an older Site statement and the current Pricing page, the current Pricing page controls.
You may end ongoing physician care without an early-termination fee. Fees already paid are nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. Ending active care may end eligibility for continued prescription authorization. Patients continuing treatment elsewhere should arrange appropriate continuity of care.
Website information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Protected Health Information used for clinical care is handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices.
The Site, including its content, design, logos, and software, is owned by Empower Med or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not reproduce or distribute it commercially without permission.
We may modify or discontinue Site features and may link to third-party services such as laboratories, pharmacies, payment processors, or patient portals. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Empower Med is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising solely from use of the public Site. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or obligations that cannot lawfully be limited, and clinical professional liability is governed separately by applicable law and clinical agreements.
We may revise these Terms as our services or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, except where another applicable law controls.
