Every TRT patient at Empower Med begins with the full hormone panel — Total T, Free T, Bioavailable T, SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin) — plus the metabolic and cardiovascular baseline (CBC or complete blood count, HbA1c or 3-month glucose average, Lipid Panel, LH or luteinizing hormone, PSA or prostate cancer screening, TSH or thyroid function). The panel isn’t marketing; it’s the foundation. Your treating physician reviews the results. The protocol follows from what the labs actually say — which format, what dose, what adjunctive therapy fits your specific picture.

For patients already receiving Metabolic Optimization, TRT may be coordinated in parallel when it is independently clinically indicated, allowing your treating physician to consider both treatment plans together.

FDA-approved commercially manufactured testosterone products are considered when clinically appropriate. When a compounded formulation is selected for an individualized clinical need, it is sourced through a licensed compounding pharmacy. Compounded preparations are not commercially manufactured drug products. They are not FDA-approved, and FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing.
Commercially manufactured FDA-approved testosterone cypionate and, when an individualized clinical need supports it, compounded injectable formulations may be considered. Any compounded injectable is identified as compounded and is not a commercially manufactured drug product.

The physician care fee covers individualized evaluation, laboratory review, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical adjustments. Your treating physician maintains the licensure and registrations required for the care provided. The clinical team helps connect you with the appropriate physician and next step.
