Physician fee. Labs. Medication. Three separate line items — you see all of them. Metabolic medication costs are separate from physician fees. The dispensing and billing pathway depends on the medication selected, pharmacy, insurance coverage, and dose. FDA-approved commercially manufactured medications and compounded preparations are distinct pathways. Compounded preparations are not commercially manufactured drug products and are not FDA-approved. Hormone medications (TRT, HRT) are procured by the practice at pharmacy client rate and billed with a professional-service markup for medication management. Labs are billed separately at the published patient prices. Every charge is itemized. No bundled pharmacy cost hidden inside a physician fee.
